Elden Ring

Where to Find all Memory Stones

By
Scott Peers

This page details the locations for all Memory Stones in Elden Ring. Memory Stones are used to increase the number of Memory Slots available to you, and therefore the number of spells that you can memorize / have available for use at the same time. There are currently seven Memory Stones that you can find in the open world of the game, but you can also purchase two from NPCs at the Roundtable Hold. One from the Twin Maiden Husks for 3000 Runes and one from Enia for 3000 Runes.

Weeping Peninsula Memory Stone Locations

Oridys’s Rise Memory Stone

This memory stone can be found at the top of a tower named Oridys’s Rise, in the Weeping Peninsula region to the south of Limgrave. The entrance to the tower is blocked when you first arrive, but you can break the barrier by killing “three wise beasts”, as indicated by the book at the bottom of the steps from the tower.

The location of Oridys’s Rise in the Weeping Peninsula.

Once you’ve read the note from the book, go back to the door to trigger the spawning of the beasts, then look to your right as you’re heading down the steps. You’ll find the first wise beast here, a turtle in phantom form. All three wise beasts are in the same form, and the second can be found on the road just north from the steps. The final beast is more difficult to find, since it’s invisible. You’ll find it in the pool of water to the southwest of the tower. When you enter the pool you’ll see a ripple in the water, giving away the position of the turtle. Strike at the centre of the ripple to kill it.

When you’ve killed all three beasts, you’ll be able to enter the tower and climb to the top to open a chest, where the Memory Stone is stored. If you’re having trouble locating the beasts, see the gif below.

Liurnia of the Lakes Memory Stone Locations

Three Sisters - Seluvis’s Rise Memory Stone

To gain access to this Memory Stone you’ll need to defeat the boss named Royal Knight Loretta, who can be found at Caria Manor in the northwestern part of Liurnia of the Lakes. Upon defeating the boss you’ll be able to walk behind the manor to access Seluvis’s Rise. This will be locked at first, but you can unlock it by speaking with Ranni the Witch at Ranni’s Rise. The stone is in a chest at the top of Seluvis’s Rise.

Raya Lucaria - Red Wolf of Radagon Memory Stone

To obtain the Memory Stone here you’ll need to defeat the Great Enemy Red Wolf of Radagon, who resides in the Raya Lucaria Academy. As a Great Enemy, this boss isn’t optional so you’ll need to defeat it as part of the main story.

Testu’s Rise Memory Stone

This Memory Stone can be found at the top of Testu’s Rise, in the northern part of Liurnia of the Lakes. The tower here will be locked in the same way that Oridys’s Rise was, and you’ll need to complete a similar challenge by killing three phantom turtles. However, this time the turtles will be accompanied by phantom skeletons, making matters slightly more complicated. The phantom skeletons are mostly slow-moving, but they can be deadly if they grab you.

Converted Tower Memory Stone

This one can be found at the Converted Tower, in the western part of Liurnia of the Lakes. The tower is located just southeast from the nearby Minor Erdtree. You’ll need to climb up to the second level of the tower using the ruins located directly to the east. When you can face directly south, jump onto the roof to enter the second level from the balcony. The stone is in a chest at the top of the tower.

Caelid / Dragonbarrow Memory Stone Locations

Lenne’s Rise Memory Stone

The Memory Stone in this location can be found at Lenne’s Rise, in the northerneastern part of Caelid / Dragonbarrow. The stone is located at the top of the tower, but you can only gain access by landing on the balcony using the nearby wind lift, while mounted on Torrent. If you approach the wind lift from the south and face directly north, you should land on the balcony without too much trouble.

Mount Gelmir Memory Stone

Northeast of Hermit Village - Demi-Human Queen Maggie Memory Stone

To obtain this Memory Stone you’ll need to defeat the optional boss named Demi-Human Queen Margot. The easiest way to reach it is by travelling to the Site of Grace at Seethewater Terminus, then heading southeast beyond the lava pool and northeast towards Hermit Village.
