Smackdown

Like Barret’s other melee Weapon Ability, Charging Uppercut, this will see Barret cause a shockwave around himself, dealing significant damage and ignoring defenses. The issue here is having to have Barret move into melee range to make use of it although you can still use it even with a ranged weapon.

Evaluation

This weapon suffers a lot of the same problems that Steel Pincers does in the fact that Barret’s main strengths are as a ranged tank and melee weapons take you out of this. If you are going to go for a melee build however, Wrecking Ball is a lot more useful than Steel Pincers due to the many Attack Power upgrades and the Reprieve ability at Weapon Level 6.

When spending your SP on the Wrecking Ball focus on purchasing all Attack Power upgrades along with Bloodsucker and Reprieve as they become available.
