You will need to take on a fearsome Kuza Beast in this quest.

How to Start the Nobody’s Tool Side Quest in FFXVI

Nobody’s Tool is the last part of a string of three side quests in Final Fantasy XVI. To start this quest you must first complete the following two side quests, both obtained from the Hideaway.

Find !Dorys at the Hideaway. (left), Go to the !Ravenwit Walls !Obelisk (right)

Nobody’s Tool will become available once you have started the main story quest, Back to Their Origin. Be careful as going too much farther in the story will lock you out of all side quests, be sure to do everything you want before taking on "Ultima" iconUltima. Once these are done, find "Dorys" iconDorys once again and speak with her. She will ask Clive to go with her to "Balmung Dark" iconBalmung Dark in Waloed. When you’re ready to take on the quest, fast travel to the "Ravenwit Walls" iconRavenwit Walls "Obelisk" iconObelisk.

Where to find the Bearers at the Ravenwit Walls

Once you are at the Ravenwit Walls Obelisk, head up the stairs. On your way you will run into several "Akashic" iconAkashic enemies, you can either choose to fight them or run past them. Once you reach the top of the stairs follow the left path to the quest marker, there will be some enemies on the way. You will soon reach a large coliseum, and Dorys will be waiting as you walk in, speak with her, and then try to open the door to your right. The door is locked, and you will need to look around the area for signs of the Bearers.

The clues are all on the ground level, just follow the left hallway down, there are a couple of Akashic Sigfreyrs you will need to defeat. The alcove beside the enemies will have your first clue sitting on a shelf. Head back into the hallway and continue following it, soon you will come to a second alcove with more Akashic Sigfreyrs, defeat them and grab the clue off the desk. Now you simply need to follow the hallway to the end, the third and final clue will be laying on the floor in front of the door.

Now that you’ve gathered all the information you need, get ready to head upstairs, be sure to grab the chest on your way up containing 20x "Sharp Fang" iconSharp Fangs. Once you reach the second-floor head to your right and through the door to the balcony there will be another chest with an "Empty Shard" iconEmpty Shard, 20x Sharp Fangs, and 20x "Wyrrite" iconWyrrite in it. Now that all the treasure is yours, head up the left side of the hallway and speak with Dorys. She will give you the key to unlock the door from the start of the area. Do so and then follow the hallway down until you hear crying and after a short walk you find a young girl.

(1 of 8) Meet !Dorys in the colosseum.

After checking on her, the Kuza Beast will appear in the arena. You can find the entrance near the unlocked gate back down the hallway.
