The 
Food for Thought Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 can be acquired at 
The Hideaway once you reach the Hide, Hideaway main quest. Here you’ll find an NPC named 
Kenneth who is the Hideaway’s chef. He’ll request that you serve up his delicious food to the residents. We’ll take you through the necessary steps to completion and where to find the residents.
Speak with !Kenneth in The Ale Hall to begin the Side Quest.

How to Start The Food for Thought Side Quest in FF16¶
First things first, you’ll need to have completed the main story mission A Chance Encounter, and be on Hide, Hideaway. When those requirements have been met, head over to Kenneth, Kitchen Head who can be found in The Ale Hall to begin this quest.
Where to Find the Residents¶
You’ll be tasked with serving Kenneth’s delicious soup to three of the residents which can be found in the Hideaway. If you open up your map by pressing the touchpad

Head to these three locations (left), and place the soup on the table. (right)
Once you’ve given out all three dishes, return to Kenneth and you’ll discover some interesting facts, such as everyone here is treated as equals and will be served the finest cuisines available whereas out in the world you’re a slave and will be given rations when your master is ready. After you’ve finished talking the quest will come to a close and you’ll be rewarded for your hard work with x10
