The 100 Mfps trophy in Final Fantasy 16 is unlocked by landing 100 total hits with the Megaflare 
Eikon ability, but only when it’s charged to level 2 or higher. You can unlock this ability with the 
Bahamut ability tree, which occurs during the Things Fall Apart main quest. To achieve 100 hits in one battle you’d need to find a larger than average group of enemies, but thankfully that won’t be necessary here since the 100 hits are counted accumulatively throughout different battles.

How to Land 100 Hits With the Megaflare Ability¶
The Megaflare ability won’t be available to you until you advance to the Things Fall Apart main quest, which is number 52 of 68. You can check your progress towards this point in the main story using our List of All Main Quests in Final Fantasy XVI page. Once you’ve reached this point you’ll gain access to the Bahamut Eikon ability tree, which provides Clive with a lot more ranged firepower in general.
There are a number of useful abilities that come with the Bahamut tree, but Megaflare is the default one, equivalent to 
Phoenix Shift, 
Deadly Embrace, or 
Blind Justice from the Phoenix, 
Garuda, and 
Ramuh Eikons respectively. Megaflare is arguably the most powerful default Eikon ability when used properly, since it can inflict a massive amount of damage passively once you’ve cast it. You’ll get the most out of it if you charge Megaflare to level 4, but you only technically need to charge it to level 2 for the purposes of this trophy.
You’ll acquire the Megaflare ability as the default one that comes with the !Bahamut !Eikon tree.
To charge Megaflare, all you need to do is press 
Precision Dodges.
How to Charge Megaflare With Precision Dodges¶
Whenever you perform a Precision Dodge while Megaflare is charging (referred to as a Magaflare Dodge), you’ll significantly increase the rate at which the progress bar towards a level 4 charge moves. The increase will come in one large chunk of the bar being filled, and if you perform multiple Precision Dodges in a row, you’ll soon reach level 4 within just a few seconds. Either way, you just need to reach level 2 for this trophy and then execute the ability by pressing

Once you execute the ability after reaching level 2 or higher, a number of fiery lights will come crashing to the ground, automatically honing in on any enemies in the area. There’s a limited radius that the ability will reach with these lights, but it’s fairly large and you can reach most enemies in a small area with it. The higher the level at which you execute Megaflare, the longer it will last and the more damage it will inflict.
It’s important to note that you don’t need to kill enemies with Megaflare for it to count towards the trophy. Instead, you just need to hit them with each light. You can speed this process up by using Megaflare exclusively in combat until you earn the trophy, rather than killing enemies more quickly with other skills while it’s still active. As noted above, you don’t need to hit 100 times with Megaflare in just one battle, so you can just keep using it in every battle until you reach the total of 100 hits.
