The Made to Be Broken trophy in Final Fantasy 16 can be unlocked by defeating 20 enemies while in the Semi-Primed state, which is activated when you use the 
Limit Break ability. You won’t be able to do this in the Hall of Virtue, so you need to make sure that you use the ability by pressing

How to Unlock the Made to Be Broken Trophy in Final Fantasy 16¶
The first thing you need to do before you can unlock this trophy is obtain the Limit Break ability. This is unlocked during 
The Meaning of Life main quest, which is number 23 out of a total of 68 main quests. If you want to see your progress towards this point in the main story, be sure to check our List of All Main Quests in Final Fantasy XVI page.
What is the Limit Break (Semi-Prime) Ability?¶
The Limit Break ability unlocks a new combat mechanic that you’ll need to learn quickly to master. You’ll have time to use it briefly during the main quest mentioned above, but you can test it in any combat scenario so long as your Limit Break gauge is sufficiently full. You’ll start off with two Limit Break bars that you can fill, but this can eventually be upgraded to four.
The Limit Break gauge initially appears as two boxes directly beneath Clive’s health bar. The only way to fill these is by hitting enemies with either regular or 
Eikon attacks. The Limit Break gauge will only deplete once you activate the Semi-Prime state by pressing
The full effects of being in the Semi-Primed state after using Limit Break are as follows:
- Changes attack style
- Doubles spells
- Increases
Charged Magic, 
Magic Burst, and Precision Shot potency by 10% - Increases Eikonic Ability potency by 10%
- Slowly restores HP
- Increases defense by 10%
- Prevents stagger when taking damage
In addition to the above it’s also useful to note that Clive cannot be killed while Limit Break is active, even if his HP is reduced to 0.

How to Get Limit Break (Semi-Prime) Kills in FFXVI¶
Once you have the Limit Break ability, you can start progress towards unlocking the Made to Be Broken trophy. Activate Limit Break when you’re close to enemies that you know you can kill while the ability remains active. This can be tricker than you might expect to achieve, especially while you only have two Limit Break gauge bars. After you unlock all four Limit Break bars by upgrading the ability, you’ll have more time to kill things in the Semi-Prime state.
You’ll find it easier to make kills in the Semi-Primed state if you only activate the Limit Break ability once you’ve reduced the health of multiple nearby enemies first. You can do this just by hitting them with regular melee or ranged attacks, but you need to make sure that none of your companions kill the enemies before you get the chance to do it yourself in the Semi-Prime state.
If it’s only Clive and 
Torgal in the party, you can make sure that Torgal doesn’t attack when you don’t want him to by spamming 
Check for Semi-Prime Finishes¶
If you’re unsure as to whether you’re actually making progress towards the Made to Be Broken trophy by killing things in the Semi-Prime state, you can check the combat log on the right side of your screen. If you make a valid Limit Break kill, it should appear as Semi-Prime Finish there. You only need to do this 20 times to unlock the trophy, which should be easily doable before the end of the game so long as you make sure that Torgal or your other allies don’t kill enemies before you get the chance.

In general, you’ll have a much easier time getting these kills if it’s just Clive and Torgal in the party, since you have at least some control over how Torgal behaves in combat. The same can’t be said for other companions, so try to get this trophy done sooner rather than later, since you’ll have other companions in the party more frequently towards the end of the game.
