Head back to Beaver Hollow and speak to Dutch to begin this mission as Eagle Flies asks for assistance in attacking the army at the oilfields. Follow the gang to the marked area, making sure you bring a rifle and shotgun along with you for the shootout that is about to begin.
You’ll need to score at least 30 headshots for the Gold Medal and although there are a lot of soldiers to kill, you also have the entire gang there shooting them too. For that reason, make use of Dead Eye where possible and ensure that every one of your kills is a headshot.
As you head down the hill towards the oilfields, nail a few headshots and then rush to cover. You’ll want to keep to cover as much as possible, there’s no time limit here but you are unable to use healing items. You’ll notice snipers on the tower during this group of soldiers, make them your main priority and then head across the path toward the center, headshotting the soldier tussling with Eagle Flies.
Once again, take out the soldiers on the walkway above as you head in deeper, it’s a good idea to make use of Dead Eye due to the soldiers hiding beind the railing where possible. As you move into the open, get into cover behind one of the nearby crates and then make good use of the radar to pick off soldiers from all directions. After most of them are down, one of the soldiers will begin using a Gatling Gun against you, quickly enter Dead Eye and dispatch him before pushing forward.
You’ll be up close and personal here, consider switching to a shotgun to dispatch the two soldiers in front of you and then look to the left. You’ll see Paytah wrestling with a soldier here and you’ll need to be quick to aid him or he’ll be killed, failing the mission in the process. Once Paytah is saved, push forward and take out the soldiers hiding behind the crates. Ignore the soldiers coming down from the hills to the left and head right instead, headshotting the remaining soldiers before meeting up with Dutch.
Follow Dutch into the warehouse and head upstairs to the office, searching the medicine cupboard and wardrobe. Dutch eventually finds what he’s been looking for, the state bonds, in the drawer. Follow Dutch back downstairs and you’ll have one final group of soldiers to deal with, keep to cover and headshot them all before following Dutch. Once you regain control following the cutscene, you’ll find yourself in an automated Dead Eye sequence that you have no control over other than pulling the trigger. With the gang falling apart, all that’s left to do is ride back to Wapiti as fast as possible with Eagle Flies life in the balance.
