This page is a walkthrough for The Doomsday Heist Setup Mission, Avenger. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to successfully acquiring Avenger.
Overview of the Avenger mission.
Enter the hangar at Los Santos International Airport and steal the Avenger Aircraft from Merryweather.
Survive the ambush / Steal the Avenger¶
Once you’ve started up the mission, take any car and follow the waypoint to Los Santos International Airport. Enter the Hangar and the lights will be turned off by Mayweather. Press [Right D-Pad] to activate your night vision goggles, then take cover by the box near the entrance.

Take cover by the boxes near the entrance of the Hangar and take out the enemies (left), then go up to the top floor and turn on the generators. (right)
Clear out all the enemies which are on all levels of the hangar, then make your way up to the top floor via the stairs and take out a few more enemies before activating the generators at the back of the area. After the power has been switched back on, return to the ground floor and enter the Avenger. Finally, fly the Avenger to the beach marked on your map to bring this mission to a close.
