This page is a walkthrough for the Los Santos Tuners DLC Auto Shop Setup mission, Tracking Device. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to successfully planting the tracking device on the transporter.
Overview of the Tracking Device mission.
Halt a military convoy and steal the printing plates they’re transporting.
Go to Fort Zancudo / Search the for the Transporter¶
Once you’ve activated the mission via the Job Board, take any car and head over to a Crusader which is marked on your map. Upon arrival, take out the two nearby soldiers before getting in the Crusader, then drive into Fort Zancudo.
You’ll now need to search around the military base until you find a hangar filled with soldiers and a Transporter, then you’ll want to clear out the hangar before taking a picture of the Transporter and sending it over to Sessanta. However, the Transporter is in a different location each time you run this mission.
Clear out the enemies in the hangar
then plant a tracking device on the transporter.
After you’ve sent over the picture, wait a few seconds, then approach the Transporter and stick on the Tracking Device by pressing [Right D-Pad]. Finally, steal a nearby Jet and lose the wanted level to bring this mission to a close.
