Quick Mission Guide

Follow these steps to complete the mission successfully without worrying about medal requirements. If you need help with the Gold Medal, check here.

  1. Once you’ve completed Liquidity Risk, grab a helicopter, then meet Dom on top of the Maze Bank building.
  2. Jump! - After the scene has come to a close, jump of the building and aim to land on the flat bed truck by holding [L1+R1/RB+LB] to slow down.
  3. Reunited - Upon landing, you’ll meet with Dom again and the mission will come to a close.

Gold Medal Requirements:

  1. Dare Devil - Fall for 00:08 before opening the parachute.
  2. Bullseye - Land perfectly on the back of the truck.

Dare Devil

The timer on this mission is incredibly off. Even if you time it 8 seconds, you will normally end up with only 7 seconds. There is not much room for error here either as too much will make a pancake of you.

It is best to use a stopwatch or have some way of timing the drop. Start the timer as soon as you press the jump button. Be sure to press down on the control stick to make your descent slower as well. Let the timer run to around 8.5 seconds and then deploy the chute. It isn’t the easiest to do all these things at once but with a little practice you will eventually get the idea.

(1 of 2) Pull the cord just after Franklin asks where the truck is

Pull the cord just after Franklin asks where the truck is (left), then hold L1+R1/RB+LB to slow down and aim for the front of the truck. (right)

Bullseye

You will need a little height because the truck is moving. Aim as if you would land just forward of the truck to compensate for the movement. If you are going for the timed fall as well, you will actually only have a tiny margin for error. Use the precise controls to home in on the truck, allowing you to adjust your flight path.

To prolong your time in the air, make sure to press down on the control stick to allow you the chance to float longer. Even with all this, it does take a few tries to get everything perfect. This jump is by far the most challenging.
