This is the same race you must complete during Hao’s mission so you should be familiar with the course. Make good use of the boost you get at the beginning of the race by timing your acceleration with the moment the clock goes to 0.

You can get into a racer’s slipstream but if you are in a fast car, you will be way ahead of them anyway. There are a couple of noticeable turns to keep in mind as you race, notably the very tight corner over the railroad and then subsequently on to the freeway. Using Franklin’s special for the duration until you get onto the freeway is advisable and it also allows you to pull away from your rivals as they struggle with the bends.

Franklin’s special is invaluable at this section particularly if you want to maintain a good speed.

Watch for oncoming traffic as you race off the freeway and around more bends. It can be hard to see any upcoming cars, particularly as you head down an incline, even more so if the ride height of your car is quite low.

The second turn to be aware of is after an incredibly long and fast straight, you will be turning toward the finish line. It is pretty much a right angle and you will be going at some speed so either use Franklin’s special to get you through or brake early and get around safely.

Complete one more lap without any mishaps and you will earn yourself a nice $450 prize.
