Due to the difficulty of trying to complete Tera Raids offline and Online, our best Grimmsnarl Tera Raid build will make life easier.

If you’ve been delving into the world of Tera Raids and have reached the point of taking on the challenging 5 and 6 Star Tera Raids, you may realize just how much more strategy comes into play. More importantly, you may notice that clearing these Offline with the AI is incredibly challenging, to the point of almost impossible. Even Online can be challenging if your teammates choose Pokémon that are not ideal for the battle.

How to Get A Grimmsnarl Tera Raid Build

If you haven’t yet caught yourself a Grimmsnarl, then you’ll need to first catch an Impidimp which can be found in Tagtree Thicket and evolve it. However, you may need to catch a few until you get one with a Fairy Tera Type. Level it to 42 and it’ll evolve into Grimmsnarl fit for our Grimmsnarl Tera Raid build.

Impidimp is a Dark Dark and Fairy Fairy Type, so it’s extremely weak to Fairy Fairy Poison Poison and SteelSteel and will take 2x damage from them, so you want to use those Pokemon Types which are slightly above its level to lower its health before attempting to catch it.

Grimmsnarl Tera Raid Build

Now that you have a Grimmsnarl, what is it about this Pokémon that has the Pokémon community go wild for him? These are main moves you’ll want to make note of for the best Grimmsnarl Tera Raid build:

Spirit Break is a Fairy-type move that inflicts damage and has a chance to lower the target’s Sp. Atk stat. Light Screen is a Psychic-type Move which will allow you to reduce damage taken from special attacks for five turns. Reflect is a Normal-type move which will make your Pokemon become the same type as the opposition. Taunt is a Dark-type move which forces the opposition to only use Attack Moves for 3 Turns.

Once you’ve got the Grimmsnarl Tera Raid build setup with the above Moves, then you’ll want to use as more a Support in the Tera Raids, as these attacks will allow you to survive longer with skills like Light Screen reducing damage and you can stop it from using Special Attacks with Taunt.

Light Screen is a TM you can find out in the open-world. It can be found in several locations, but the easiest place to find it in East Province Area Two.

How to Teach Grimmsnarl Taunt

Taunt is a TM you can find out in the open-world. It can be found in out the outer edge or Casseroya Lake. Alternatively, you can craft it via the TM Machine after you’ve defeated Team Star’s Fighting Crew.
