Scarlet Paradox Pokémon Flutter Mane

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to find and catch the Scarlet Paradox Pokémon Flutter Mane in Pokémon Scarlet.

Fluttermane.

What is Flutter Mane?

Flutter Mane is a Scarlet exclusive Paradox Pokémon found in Area Zero. Paradox Pokémon are Pokémon that are exclusive to the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet game. They resemble pre-existing Pokémon but have different move sets and types. Scarlet Paradox Pokémon are Ancient whilst Violet’s are futuristic.

You will only be able to capture Paradox Pokémon once you’ve got access to Area Zero - the crater at the center of the Paldea Region. You’ll have access to this area once you’ve completed the three story paths:

Once you’ve finished the story quest in Area Zero, you’ll also be able to return at any time by fast travelling to the Zero Gate.

How to Find and Catch Flutter Mane

Flutter Mane can only be found in a couple of different locations in the Area Zero Crater. The easiest place to find him will be at the bottom of the cave area, accessed from the cave entrance by Research Station No. 3. Follow the cave’s linear path all the way to the ground area of the cave to find several Flutter Mane dotted around in the shallow waters. It can also be found in the secret cave where Roaring Moon Paradox Pokémon are also found - head over to our guide on Roaring Moon for a walkthrough of where to find the cave. It’ll be around Lv 57 so make sure to battle with Pokémon of an appropriate level if you want to catch it. Sometimes they can be a bit stubborn so we like to use "Ultra Ball" iconUltra Balls to make extra sure we catch them!

You can find some Fluttermane in the secret cave where Roaring Moons live.
