The first time you start up the game, you’ll be presented with a choice of in-game language:

  • Spanish
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese

Obviously, you’ll probably want to pick the one you’re most familiar with.

Afterwards, you’ll be taken to the confirmation screen, where you can begin the game straightaway by picking “Ready!” or you can customize your hairstyle and look further.

Now enjoy the cutscenes! Welcome, Pokémon trainers, to the vast and wondrous Paldea region!
