Tatsugiri is a level 55 Dragon Type.

Where to Find The Tatsugiri, the False Dragon Titan

Tatsugiri, the False Dragon Titan can be battled after you’ve defeated Dondozo, the False Dragon Titan which is the first part of the Dragon Titan. However, before you can reach Dondozo you’ll need to unlock the Travel Ability “"Surf" iconSurf” which is obtained by defeating Bombirdier, the Open Sky Titan which is a level 19 Flying Type. The easiest way to reach it is by traveling to the Glaseado Mountain Pokémon Center and swimming west.

Tatsugiri, the Falsa Dragon Titan’s Level

Tatsugiri is a level 55 Dragon type Pokemon. Ideally, you should attempt the Tatsugiri, the False Dragon Titan when you are at least Level 56, so you can overpower it.

Tatsugiri, the False Dragon Titan’s Weakness

Tatsugiri is a Dragon Dragon type, so you’ll ideally want to bring along a at least one of Fairy Fairy Ice Ice It doesn’t matter which of the two types you choose as Tatsugiri is weak to all three by the same amount. If you haven’t got you hands on any Fairy Fairy Ice Iceyet, then you should consider these options which you would’ve seen whilst adventuring towards the False Dragon Titan:

Best Strategies for Tatsugiri, the False Dragon Titan

You’ll have to fight Tatsugiri once, but the battle starts right after defeating Dondozo, so you’ll want to make sure you set your team up for both battles beforehand. If you’ve selected any of the Pokémon mentioned above, then some of these attacks will be useful for the upcoming battle. Cyclizar "Breaking Swipe" iconBreaking Swipe, "Florges" IconFlorges Fairy Wind and "Igglybuff" IconIgglybuff "Disarming Voice" iconDisarming Voice or Sweet Kiss.

For attacks Tatsugiri can use "Muddy Water" iconMuddy Water which can deal decent damage to your Pokémon depending on your level and type, so throughout the battle you’ll want to make sure you keep topping up your health with "Potion" iconPotions or "Super Potion" iconSuper Potions to avoid it being defeated. Additionally Muddy Water can cause Accuracy Down which means there’s an increased chance of missing your attack.

"Icy Wind" iconIcy Wind which will cause Speed Down on your Pokémon, so it could increase the chance of Tatsugiri being able to take it’s turn before you. "Taunt" iconTaunt which will prevent your Pokémon from being able to use status skills for 3 turns.

After the Battle

Upon defeating Dondozo and Tatsugiri and completing the Dragon Titan you’ll then gain access to Climb which is a new travel ability. This can be used by pressing Joy-Con-ButtonPlus button on the joycons or pro controller to hop onto Miraidon or Koraidon, then press in the Joy-Con-ButtonB button when you’re facing a wall to jump onto it.
