How to Evolve Pawmo into Pawmot

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to evolve Pawmo into Pawmot in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet (SV). Pawmot, who is the final evolution of Pawmi, is an adorable Electric Fighting-type Pokémon that can pack quite the punch! Pawmi, Pawmo and Pawmot are all new Generation IX Pokémon introduced in Scarlet and Violet.

Pawmot evolves from Pawmo!

How to Get Pawmot

Pawmot can be evolved at a pretty low level but it won’t just happen naturally and you can’t find it out in the wild either. You’ll need to use the Let’s Go! feature and walk 1000 steps with Pawmo. To throw out your Pawmo, you’ll need to first make it the party leader then throw it out using Joy-Con-ZR. Now your leading Pokémon (Pawmo in this case), will run around after you.

Walking 1000 steps won’t take too long (around five minutes) and then the next time you level up your Pawmo it’ll evolve into Pawmot. You can level up your Pawmo in battle or by using XP candies. Pawmo evolves from Pawmi at level 18, meaning you could have a Pawmo very soon after evolving your Pawmi!

Take your Pawmo for walkies using the Let’s Go feature!

How to Get Pawmo

In order to get Pawmot, you’ll need to grab yourself a Pawmo. Pawmo evolves from Pawmi at level 18 or you can find a Pawmot out in the wild. Pawmi can be found around the early game area, by Poco Path. Pawmo can be found in South Province (Area Two) and West Province (Area One).
