Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

How to Evolve Primeape into Annihilape

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to evolve "Primeape" IconPrimeape into Annihilape in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet (SV). Annihilape is a Fighting Ghost type ape Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is the final form of "Mankey" IconMankey. Annihilape cannot be found in the wild, so you’ll need to know how to evolve Primeape.

Help! Annihilape has gone mad!

How to Get Annihilape

To evolve Primeape into Annihilape, you’ll need to have your Primeape use Rage Fist 20 times and then level up. Primeape learns Rage Fist at Level 35, so if you go around battling a bunch of unsuspecting wild Pokémon or trainers in the Paldea region, you’ll be able to get Annihilape in no time! If you really want to rush the process, you can find a Mass Outbreak or head to a low level area and one-shot all the Pokémon using Rage Fist! Rage Fist has a PP of 10, so half way through your Rage Fist grind, you’ll need to replenish it’s PP by either stopping at a Pokémon Center or using an "Ether" iconEther item.

Annihilape is a Ghost Fighting type Pokémon.

How to Get Primeape

If you’ve not already got your hands on a Primeape that you want to evolve into Annihilape, then you’ll either need to head out into the wild and catch one, or evolve a Mankey - Primeape evovles from Mankey at level 28. Mankey can be found in West Province (Area One) and South Province (Area Five).

If you don’t fancy evolving a Mankey, you can just find a Primeape instead. You can find Primeape in West Province (Area Three). Remember, your Primeape will need to learn Rage Fist by levelling up to Level 35 before you can evolve it into Annihilape!
