We’re seeing a theme with Black Crystal 7-Star events, and the "Decidueye" IconDecidueye Tera Raid event is no exception. Starters from all over the Pokémon world are coming in with their mightiest marks to show the trainers they mean business. Holding up the last two weekends in March 2023, Decidueye The Unrivalled will be tearing up Tera Raid dens near trainers on the following dates and times:

  • March 17 at 00:00 UTC to March 19 at 23:59 UTC
  • March 24 at 00:00 UTC to March 26 at 23:59 UTC

This is great news with the two events being back to back, but what other information do we know? We know it’ll have the mightiest mark and it’ll have a Flying Flying Tera Typing, but what else can we prepare for? Let’s take a deep dive into the Decidueye Tera Raid event so we can hit the ground running when the first round drops.

Decidueye Tera Raid Event

With Decidueye having a Flying Tera Typing, we know it’s main weakness will be Electric Electric Type attacks. This typing is a good option for trainers considering it’s not weak against Decidueye’s standard Ghost Ghost and Grass Grass typings. Decidueye focuses on physical attacks and raising the power of those physical attacks as it raises its shields.

Decidueye The Unrivalled is up next in 7-Star Black Crystal Tera Raids.

Best Decidueye Counter and build

(1 of 2) Bellibolt is a powerful electric type Pokémon when used correctly. It’s also one of the best Pokémon designs in years.

Bellibolt is a powerful electric type Pokémon when used correctly. It’s also one of the best Pokémon designs in years. (left), This is currently one of the best movesets for Bellibolt. (right)

We’re confident Bellibolt will proves a worthy Pokémon against Decidueye The Unrivalled due to its Electric Typing and unique attack and ability combo that deals double super effective damage whilst healing Bellibolt half of the total damage value. It’s a killer build which we’ve covered in detail, even how to find the best Bellibolt and get the right moves.

Miraidon will also prove a good pairing with Bellibolt. As Bellibolt uses "Acid Spray" iconAcid Spray and Parabolic "Charge" iconCharge to attack whilst healing, MIraidon can use "Calm Mind" iconCalm Mind to raise it’s Special Attack then use Electro Drift to deal massive damage. Make sure to implement this strategy before and after Decidueye removes all negative effects from itself.
