How to Get an Eviolite in Scarlet & Violet

This is a guide for obtaining an Eviolite in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

What is Eviolite?¶

Eviolite boosts the defensive stats of Pokémon that can still evolve.

Eviolite is a hold item that boosts a Pokémon’s Defense and Special Defense stats by 50% each, if that Pokémon is capable of evolving. It does nothing for fully evolved Pokémon.

It’s good for bulky Pokémon that don’t really need to evolve. The best (and only good) Eviolite user is probably Chansey.

Eviolite Location¶

You obtain a free Eviolite from the Pokémon League rep in South Province (Area Five) after defeating 7 trainers found there.
