How to Evolve Rellor into Rabsca

By
Jessica Dillon

There are a ton of Pokemon that evolve under special means in the Pokemon series. Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet added to this list by introducing Pokemon like Bramblin to the cast. Rellor is a Pokemon that you can find later on that has a gimmicky evolution. If you are wanting to get your hands on a bug and psychic-type evolution, then you’re going to need to set a bit of time aside to run around in the game. Below we go over where to catch Rellor and how to evolve it into Rabsca.

A Rellor in Asado Desert.

Where to Find Rellor in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet

Rellor is a common Pokemon, so you shouldn’t have much trouble finding it when you learn where it’s located in Paldea. You can find Rellor rolling around its ball in the Asado Desert. It’s generally pretty easy to spot and can be caught early on in the game. Getting it to evolve, however, is a whole other problem, as it is going to take a bit of work on your part.

How to Evolve Rellor into Rabsca

Rellor has a similar evolution gimmick to Pawmo and Bramblin. You will need to use the Let’s Go feature to let it walk beside of you. There is no minimum level you need to hit for Rellor to evolve. Simply walk it for 1,000 steps, which takes around ten minutes of time, and level it up once for the evolution to occur.

It’s best to go to a town to walk your Rellor. Please note that you can’t use your legendary as a ride during this time, and you will need to ensure that you stay close to Rellor so that it doesn’t return to its Pokeball multiple times during this process. Keep in mind that Rabsca can’t be caught in the wild.
