Team Star Cassiopeia Fight

By
Jessica Dillon

The very last fight of the Team Star route puts you against the group’s boss. Surprisingly, this fight is much easier to tackle than you initially would have thought. Before going into it, though, you will want to have a bit of a strategy worked out to guarantee that you don’t lose. Below we go over how to start the final fight and the Pokemon types you need to bring with you in order to guarantee your victory.

Penny’s using her Vaporeon in the final Team Star battle.

Where to Find Cassiopeia

Once you defeat Director Clavell, you will be able to challenge Cassiopeia. To do this, you must wait until night. This can take around 35 minutes of in-game time if it’s day currently. Once this is done, enter the academy and use one of the displays to move to the schoolyard for your final fight on the Team Star route.

Penny’s Team in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet

Penny has a team made up of six different Eeveelutions. Below are all six along with what level they will be when you fight them.

Pokemon Level
"Umbreon" IconUmbreon 62
"Jolteon" IconJolteon 62
"Flareon" IconFlareon 62
"Leafeon" IconLeafeon 62
"Vaporeon" IconVaporeon 62
"Sylveon" IconSylveon 63

Interestingly enough all of Penny’s Pokemon can use baby-doll eyes, which will lower your attack. The rest of their attacks are quite standard and easy to beat if you know basic type advantages. Eeveelutions aren’t necessarily weak, but they are only one type, which makes them pretty vulnerable with the right team. In fact, every one of Penny’s Pokemon can be easily countered and quickly wiped out. Here is what to counter every one of her Pokemon with.

Pokemon Weakness
"Umbreon" IconUmbreon Fighting, Bug, and Fairy.
"Jolteon" IconJolteon Ground.
"Flareon" IconFlareon Water, Rock, and Ground.
"Leafeon" IconLeafeon Fire, Bug, Ice, Poison, and Flying.
"Vaporeon" IconVaporeon Flying, and Electric.
"Sylveon" IconSylveon Poison, and Steel.

Penny will use her "Tera Orb" iconTera Orb on "Sylveon" IconSylveon, but as long as you have a poison of steel-type Pokemon, this won’t be an issue.
