There is plenty to do in Hogwarts Legacy, including catching beasts throughout the game’s various regions. North Ford Bog is home to some rather unique beasts, including the Thestral, which are part of the Foal of The Dead side quest. The guide below goes over every beast that you can find in North Ford Bog and how to successfully catch them.

All Beast Den Locations in North Ford Bog in Hogwarts Legacy¶

Thestral¶

Thestral will be part of the Foal of The Dead quest and can be quite tricky to catch as they have a large fly radius once spooked. Use Levioso to keep them in place long enough to use your Nab-sack.

Giant Purple Toad¶

Giant Purple Toads are easy to catch. Simply sneak up on them using Dislushment and use Accio or Levioso to hold them in place. There are two Giant Purple Toad dens in North Ford Bog, both of which are located right across from each other, with the Thestral den in the middle.

Jobberknoll¶

Jobberknoll is another type of bird in Hogwarts Legacy, and it flies around, making it a bit hard to catch. Use Accio or Levioso to hold it in place or bring it in closer for catching with your Nab-sack.
