Collecting beasts is a side activity in Hogwarts Legacy that will unlock right after you get your Room of Requirements. This is a great way to get free potion supplies, as caring for beasts will give you beast items such as 
Niffler Fur. Even the sparse

There is only a single beast den in the North Hogwarts Region.

Niffler Den
This den is in the northern part of the North Hogwarts Region and borders the 
Forbidden Forest. You shouldn’t have a problem capturing 
Niffler as they are an easy beast to catch up to, and when taken care of they will give you Niffler Fur.
