Getting back on the path when considering recent events has been hectic. Goblin Loyalists and inside scoops on Rookwood and Ranrok, thanks to Lodgok the goblins’ previous relationship with the Loyalist dark magic wielder is a lot to take in. Time, however, doesn’t share the same sentiment, so our protagonist must move on and report his recent findings to Professor Fig in the Map Room.
Back On The Path
Witches and Wizards should have access to The Map Room Floo Flame by now, so fast travel there by selecting the “Secret Rooms” section on the Hogwarts Map to find the Map Room Floo Flame listed. Upon entering, Professor Fig praises our protagonist to The Keepers, stating, “You would be wise not to underestimate this student.” This is also when the “Back on the Path” main quest officially starts.
Witches and Wizards start to explain their new source, Lodgok, stating he can be trusted, and Professor Fig trusts that it will lead to important information they can use. The conversation piques Charles Rookwoods interest, with his nerves shaking as he learns Ranrok is searching for something.
There has been significant Goblin and Wizard activity when visiting his portrait at his castle. Rookwood castle is also the location of our next trial, which also means there’s some kind of powerful magic at Rockwood Castle that is of significant importance. It’s then revealed that Victor Rookwood, Charles Rookwoods descendant, is a Dark Wizard.
Charles Rookwood wastes no time in rushing the timing of the subsequent trial forward, given the current circumstances. He reveals it’s also a source of great power that would be “devastating in the wrong hands.” With every faith in the protagonist’s abilities, he sends us to find Charles Rookwood’s portrait as soon as possible. Head over to our guide on How to Complete Charles Rookwood’s Trial for more information!
