There are tons of side activities to try out in Hogwarts Legacy. This includes caring for beasts. Beast dens can be found in every single region of the map in Hogwarts Legacy, including in Poidsear Coast, a late-game area. The guide below goes over every type of beat that you can find in Poidsear Coast and where every beast den is located.

Overview¶

There are a total of five different types of beast dens in Poidsear Coast, including a Hippogriff den.

Mooncalf Den¶

The Mooncalf den is located in the northern part of Poidsear Coast, north of the Poidsear Castle floo flame. Mooncalf will only appear at night. When when taken care of, will give you Mooncalf Fur.

Hippogriff Den¶

The Hippogriff den is located on the southeast part of Poidsear Coast. Hippogriffs won’t fly away until you get close to them, so capturing one shouldn’t be all that difficult. When taken care of, a Hippogriff will give you Hippogriff Feathers.

Diricawl Den¶

The Diricawl Den is located right next to the South Poidsear Coast floo flame and is also part of the Birds of a Feather quest. You will get Diricawl feathers from this beast.

Puffskein Den¶

The Puffskein den is located south from the Phoenix Cave floo flame. This is the easy type of beast to catch in the Hogwarts Legacy and will give you Puffskein Fur.

Niffler Den¶

The Niffle den is located right above the Phoenix Cave floo flame. When you are for Niffler, they will give you Niffler Fur.
