Xenoblade Chronicles 3 which was released on July 29th 2022 features 6 main characters which can be placed into your party and each one has their own class. This page will take you through everything you need to know about Classes, such as uses, artes and more.
What Type of Classes are in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
As mentioned above there are unique classes for each character and they are split up into three categories. Attackers, Defenders, and Healers. Attackers are your go to for DPS (Damage Over Time), as their states are designed to allow them to deal a lot more damage with their Artes in battle.
Defenders are essentially the Tanks of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, as they have Artes which allow them to steal aggro, so the attackers can focus on dealing damage without the risk of losing lots of health. Additionally, their states and equipment are designed to take more damage.
Finally, Healers are the support classes of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and are arguably one of the most important team members when you begin to fight some of the harder opponents during the later portions of the game. They have the ability to heal and perform buffs on the team such as Attack Up which means the Attackers can deal more damage.
Class Roles and the Talent Gauge
As you’re fighting tougher opponents throughout the world of Aionis you’ll want to use the special Artes which are activated by pressing . However, this skill is only usable by increasing the Talent Gauge which is done differently by each class. Attackers increase their gauge by doing positionals correctly and performing critical hits, so pay close attention to the arrow above your Artes to see where you’re to the opponent.
Defenders increase their gauge by causing aggro and taking defensive actions such as blocking, evading. Finally, Healers are by using their healing abilities and making use of buffs and debuffs.
