How to Start the Survivors Ascension Quest

Ascension Quests will start becoming available once you reach Chapter 5 in the main story. Beyond just simple story progress, there are several other steps for unlocking Ascension Quests which usually involve completing the Colony related Questlines (for Heroes that belong to one) along with ensuring that the Inheritor is at Rank 10 of the Class.

For Juniper’s Ascension Quest, you’ll need to first ensure that Noah has reached Rank 10 with the Stalker Class. If he’s yet to do this, remember you can use Silver Nopon Coins to raise the levels of a Class.

The final step needed for Juniper’s Ascension Quest to become available is to complete the Learning from Lambda Quest that becomes available after completing the various quests associated with Colony Tau. Remember to check for Info Fragments to unlock the next Quest in the Questline and eventually you should get the Info Fragment needed for Learning from Lambda.

Once you’ve achieved all of these steps, return to Colony Tau with Juniper in your party to trigger a scene that begins this Quest.

How to Complete the Survivors Ascension Quest

Where to find the Twineturf

Despite your suspicions, the party decides to give in to the request of the Consul at the behest of some of the Colony Tau residents. Her task, to retrieve four Twineturfs so that she can create a way to keep the monsters out of Colony Tau.

Climb the tree in the Yellowgrove to reach the Twineturf.

Skip Travel to the Sparkling Pool Camp Landmark and make your way south to the Yellowgrove. Climb the tree here and you’ll find four Twineturfs just waiting for you. Make your return to Colony Tau to hand them over and as expected, things begin to unravel.

Defeat the Tau-Raiding Rhinons

Consul U’s plan goes off without a hitch, and the Twineturfs have the opposite effect of drawing the monsters to Colony Tau instead. You’ll be up against a group of four Lv 48 Annon Rhinons to begin with and these beasts can very easily down your party as they swarm you in the early stages. Hang back if you’re playing an Attacker and wait for your Defenders to establish aggro before taking them on.

(1 of 2) The Rhinons can deal plenty of damage to your party

The Rhinons can deal plenty of damage to your party (left), thankfully only 3 of them attack in the third and final wave. (right)

A scene triggers following your victory and you’ll then be thrust into a second battle with the same enemies, only this time around there is five of them. You may need to use a Chain Attack at some point during this battle to buy yourself some time to recover, you’ll be taking a lot of damage on in the early stages of the battle. More scenes will take place and then a final battle with more Rhinons will take place, this time only three of them. This is the easiest of the three battles and should be nothing more than a victory lap.

Following your victory, there seems to be only one matter left to take care of, Consul U herself, and another battle with Moebius awaits!
