This is a guide for the “Lost Friend” standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to finding Imogen.
Speak with Cardamine to begin this quest!
Worryingly, contact has been lost with Imogen, who headed for Colony 4. Go see if she is all right.
How to Start the Lost Friend Standard Quest¶
Progress through the game until you reach Chapter 4 and work your way through the Great Cotte Falls, then continue onwards until you reach High Maktha Wildwood. Here you’ll ambushed by a team from Colony Tau which will trigger the Hero Quest, Natural Selection. Upon completion you’ll have access to Colony Tau.
However, before you can gain access to the Lost Friend Standard Quest you’ll need to continue playing through the story until you reach Chapter 5, then speak with Cardamine near the Colony Tau entrance to obtain the “Where’s Imogen?” Info Fragment. Discuss the topic at the Colony Tau Canteen to begin this quest!
Where To Find Imogen¶
Upon starting the quest, fast travel to Colony 4 in the Fornis Region and approach the canteen to trigger a scene. Here Noah and the team will notice Imogen is nowhere to be seen, so they’ve decided to speak to the citizens of Colony 4 to see if they have any information on her whereabouts. You’ll need to speak with with the following four people:

Once you’ve acquired all four “Imogen at Colony 4” Info Fragments, discuss it at the canteen and the team will come to the conclusion that Imogen may be looking for somebody outside of Colony 4. After the discussion has come to a close, fast travel over to the Gorge of Odie and walk southeast to find Imogen standing out in the open. Finally, Speak with her and you’ll discover she was looking for the person who killed her friend, but they were already defeated and the quest will end.
