Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Fear of the Unknown

By
Shane Williams

This is a guide for the “Fear of the Unknown” standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to finding Serenity Jets.

A mysterious noise has scared both Dorin and Bambam.

An odd noise reverberating in the area is spooking Bambam and Dorin. Go find the source of it to put their minds at rest.

How to Start the Fear of the Unknown Standard Quest

Progress through the game until you reach Chapter 3 and work your way through the Eagnus Wilderness until you find Colony 4. Help out Ethel in the No Want of Courage Hero Quest, then you’ll gain access to more Standard Quests around Colony 4. Here you’ll need to complete the Dorin And Bambam Standard Quest. After you’ve completed that quest continue exploring the Fornis Region until you reach the Seilas Terrace Camp which is located to the south of the map.

Upon arriving a scene will play out where you witness Dorin and Bambam arguing, as Bambam is scared of some noise, so they ask Noah and the team to check it out and so the Fear of the Unknown Quest begins!

Where To Find The Serenity Jet in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

After you’ve accepted the quest, head up the hill until you reach Bittley Slope. Approach the chest and a scene will play out. Here you’ll discover the noise is coming from the chest and everyone wants to open to get their goodies inside. However, before you can do so you’ll need find 4 Serenity Jet which can be found around the Forerunners’ Tower Secret Area.

Once you’ve acquired Serenity Jets, return to the Dorin and Bambam in Bittley Slope and give them to them, so they can work on fixing the Chest. After the scene, you’ll need to take down Medolya Feris. If you’re around level 23-25, then it shouldn’t cause you much of a problem, so instruct the party to focus on the enemy and make use of buffs to take it down quickly.
