Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Exploring Agnus Castle

By
Vincent Lau

This is a guide for Chapter 6 of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, exploring Agnus Castle and the surrounding area.

Where to go after the Queen of Agnus

(1 of 2) Well, that was rollercoaster and a half.

Well, that was rollercoaster and a half. (left), Mio will rejoin you and Ghondor will also join your ranks. (right)

After trouncing the false queen, there’s probably a lot to unpack, especially after everything you’ve been through lately. Anyway, you’ll regain control at the Ascension Grounds atop Agnus Castle. First, go up the stairs towards the north-east, where Mio is waiting. Afterwards, Ghondor will join you as a Hero and Mio will return to your party.

How to reach Hope’s Rest

If you want, look around the Ascension Grounds (again) as some new Info Fragments and rest spots will appear. When you’re ready, speak to the female Agnus Soldier by the north-western dropships to be transported to Mulus Depot. Then make your way west back towards the Prison Camp, Freight Gate. Alternatively, you can fast-travel straight there.

In any case, continue west until you’ve got past the West Perimeter Gate, then begin following the trail south. Eventually, you’ll reach Hope’s Rest, a ledge overlooking Patulia Bay.

Return to Agnus Castle

Following the relevations, make your way back to Agnus Castle, ideally by fast-traveling to the Ascension Grounds or one of the rest spots. Once there, head over to the center of the grounds to begin the clean up. Later on, go to the Station Breakroom to the east to rest up for the day.

(1 of 2) Short or long? Talk about a difficult choice…

Short or long? Talk about a difficult choice… (left), But actually, you can change it whenever! (right)

Leaving Agnus Castle

Moving on, your next destination is the upper portion of the Aetia Region. When ready, fast-travel to the Prison Camp, Freight Gate, then proceed all the way west. Eventually you’ll reach the Old Road of Rebirth, at which point the exit will be nearby.
