This is a guide for the Choices Standard Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

How to Start the Choices Standard Quest

In Chapter 6, you will need to get back to the City, since it was relocated. You can either do this by going to Farview Cape in the Erythia Sea (Cadensia Region), or by simply doing the Going Home quest. Once you return to the City, you will need to find two pieces of Info. One should be towards the northeastern portion of the city, on the ground level, with the other being in the Mxene Tech Quarter. Both will get you the City Discontent Info, which you can discuss to start the quest.

How to Complete the Choices Standard Quest

The City folk are worried that Moebius knows where the City is located, so they want to take some action. Head on over to the War Room and speak with Travis and Monica, and in the middle of the conversation, you learn that some Armory units have been commandeered and taken out of the City. Travis tracks them down, as they are headed to Vinisog Holm, so your party decides to head there to help out. Fast travel there and go down the hill to confront the people.

The upcoming fight can be quite challenging, so having a 2 Attackers, 2 Defenders, and 2 Healers setup can be quite nice, plus a Hero also healing. You will be up against eight level 54 enemies, all of them able to output some decent damage. It might be easier to concentrate on the human enemies first, then go after the Automatons second, or you could try to switch those strategies. The human enemies definitely seem to have less health, though, meaning you can mitigate the damage being taken quite quickly. Don’t forget about your Ouroboros form, as well as Chain Attacks, to help recover some, if things get too hectic.

Once you have defeated all of the enemies, head back to the Camp on this island for another scene, which will bring you to the end of the quest.
