Lost Stones

Jarrod Garripoli

This is a guide for the Lost Stones Standard Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

How to Start the Lost Stones Standard Quest

Ruggyscruggy is inside one of the cells in the prison

Before you will have this quest available to you, make sure you have the Nopon Register quest in your log. Once you make it to the point in Chapter 5 when you have to infiltrate the prison, continue that portion until you get free roam and have access to the Perimeter Woodland. If you return to the cells, the one will be open and there is a Nopon named Ruggyscruggy inside. Speak to him and he notes that he seems to have lost the stone he’s supposed to give you for Nopon Register. He asks you to go find it for him, with the stone being in the Perimeter Woodland part of the prison camp.

How to Complete the Lost Stones Standard Quest

As the quest points out, you simply need to find the lost stone that Ruggyscruggy was supposed to give you. Doing this during the the First Day of Prison quest will be ideal, since you will be exploring the Perimeter Woodland area in search of the items for that quest. You can also do it during the Second Day of Prison, as you will also be in the vicinity when chasing the Feris. Either way, the lost stones is an item pickup in the southern portion of the Perimeter Woodland, right by the small pond there.

(1 of 2) It doesn't matter which option you choose here

It doesn't matter which option you choose here (left), If you chose to take them all, Ruggy will give you a blue stone (right)

You will have the option, when you interact with the item pickup, to take a Red Stone, Blue Stone, Yellow Stone, or to take them all. If you only take a single stone, that is the one you will receive for Nopon Register. Should you happen to choose the option to take them all, then Ruggyscruggy will hand over a Blue Stone.
