Status Ailments

The enemies aren't stingy at causing ailments, so it's smart to be prepared for any and all ailments.

On occasions, your characters might receive a status ailment as a result of an enemy’s attack or a dungeon trap. Status ailments generally have adverse effects on your characters and can cripple their performance in battle. For this reason, you should always aim to get rid of ailments as early as possible.

Nearly all ailments can be cured by using recovery items from shops or healing abilities. Some ailments can disappear naturally–for example, after a few turns or when your character takes a hit. When you know what to expect, try to equip your characters with items or abilities that provide immunity against a specific ailment. As they say, "prevention is better than cure"!

Common Ailments

Note : These ailments can also be cured with the Remedy item, Esuna/Esunaga (White Magic) or Rejuvenation (Level 1 Staff Special) and prevented with the Ribbon accessory (except for Berserk, which cannot be prevented) or Spiritmaster’s Fairy Ward ability.
