Light Armors are to Heavy Armors what Hats are to Helms–they provide lower Physical Defense, but are viable for all jobs. Just like Hats, many Light Armors provide extra incentives besides the defense boosts, such as boosts to other key stats. So don’t dismiss them straightaway after seeing their weaker defenses!
