Hearty Radish

By
Vincent Lau

These aren’t as potent as their big brothers, but they’re easier to find and still very useful!

A rare radish that grows best in sunny plains. Cook it before eating to temporarily increase your maximum hearts.

Raw Effect:

  • Recovery: 2.5 hearts

Recipe Effect:

  • Prefix: Hearty
  • Potency: +3 additional hearts
  • Recovery: All hearts

Mixed Effect:

  • Recovery: +5 hearts

Where to Find

As you’d expect, Hearty Radish are more common than Big Hearty Radish; they can be found in various parts of Hyrule, except exceptionally hot or cold places (like the Gerudo Desert).

(1 of 2) Tuft Mountain, near Lurelin Village.

To get you started, you can find several atop Tuft Mountain, west from Lurelin Village. Zoom in your map all the way and look for a heart-shaped lake. If you did the Gift of Nightshade sidequest, you should be familiar with the place.

(1 of 4) Dalite Forest, en route to Satori Mountain.

Other peaceful places to gather include Dalite Forest, along the way to Satori Mountain, and the woods adjacent to Wetland Stable. Conveniently, you can find the big radishes there too.
