★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ Electric Chuchu x2, Stalmoblin x5

The third floor of the Final Trials features an oddly empty spiral encampment. No doubt this is another trap!

Strategy

Near the entrance, you can find two Electric Chuchus guarding the stairs leading up to the encampment. You can either deal with them now (by shooting them with arrows or rolling/throwing bombs) or carefully go around them to “use” them later. In any case, head up the unoccupied encampment.

At the top, there’s a chest with a Knight’s Shield. Meanwhile, there’s a second chest on an isolated tower, which you can pull over with Magnesis; inside that one is a Knight’s Bow. Due to the constant lightning, don’t equip either of these metal items (be wary that you’ll auto-equip the shield if you don’t have one).

(1 of 2) When you approach this chest, five Stalmoblins will appear below.

After standing near the Knight’s Shield chest, five Stalmoblins will rise from the ground near the front of the encampment, in a line leading towards the stairs. Some of these Stalmoblins may begin heading your way. If you’re quick and the Electric Chuchu are still alive, you can shoot the Chuchu now to try and stun the Moblins.

In any case, despite their frightening appearances, these Stalmoblin can be defeated similarly to the Stalkoblin and Stalizalfos from previous floors. You can throw bombs at them or hit them with a weapon (preferably a spear) to dislocate their heads, then hit the head to destroy it. Or directly shoot their heads with a bow to one-shot them.

(1 of 2) Use one bomb to knock off a Stalmoblin’s head.

By the way, if there are any Stalmoblin that haven’t noticed you and are still on the ground, you can easily kill them by throwing bombs/shooting arrows from atop the encampment. When a Stalmoblin hasn’t noticed you for a while, it will de-aggro and revert to a corpse. But a well-aimed bomb will wake them up again.

Once you’ve secured the camp, make sure to grab all the good weapons that the departed enemies dropped and loot the contents of the small wooden barrels.
