Low-Tier Enemy Locations (for Compendium)

By
Vincent Lau

This page explains where to find low-tier enemies for the Hyrule Compendium during Master Mode.

As you should know, most enemies are scaled up in Master Mode. For example, if there was a Bokoblin, it’s now a Blue Bokoblin. Therefore, if you want to snap a picture of a regular Bokoblin, you’re kind of stuck… right?

Thankfully, the game is kind enough to spawn some low-tier enemies for this purpose. Here are all their locations.

Bokoblin

(1 of 2) Valley south of the Great Plateau.

Valley south of the Great Plateau. (left), You may want to get the Bokoblin off its horse before taking a pic. (right)

At the valley directly south of the Great Plateau, near the cliff leading to the Taobab Grassland and north of Mount Faloraa. You can fast-travel to the Owa Daim Shrine, then glide south.

This Bokoblin is riding a horse, so it can be fiddly taking a picture of the Bokoblin itself. What you could do is apply Stasis+ on the Bokoblin to harmlessly detach it from its horse.

Moblin

(1 of 2) Sherfin’s Secret Hot Spring.

Sherfin’s Secret Hot Spring. (left), C’mon, turn that frown upside down! (right)

Near the north-west corner of the Hebra region, at Sherfin’s Secret Hot Spring, south of Icefall Foothills and south-west from Hebra North Summit. This Moblin’s sitting down enjoying the heat from the hot spring.

Lizalfos

(1 of 2) Gerudo Canyon, near Wasteland Tower.

Gerudo Canyon, near Wasteland Tower. (left), This Lizalfos is approaching menacingly. (right)

North of Wasteland Tower, next to a tree a short distance north-east from the small wetlands atop Gerudo Canyon. The Lizalfos is trying its best to camouflage itself, but you should notice it pretty quickly.

Lynel

(1 of 2) Ploymus Mountain.

Ploymus Mountain. (left), Give us a nice action-y pose, won’t you? Wait, don’t attack us! (right)

Roaming around Ploymus Mountain–part of the highlands east from Zora’s Domain. You’ll be asked to go here to collect Shock Arrows as part of the Vah Ruta quest.

Fire Wizzrobe

(1 of 2) Akkala Wilds.

Akkala Wilds. (left), This Wizzrobe is always dancing, come rain or shine. (right)

Towards the far north of the Akkala region, along Akkala Wilds, east from Skull Lake. If you unlocked the Zuna Kai Shrine, you can fast-travel there, then glide east to reach Akkala Wilds.

Ice Wizzrobe

(1 of 2) The Forgotten Temple.

The Forgotten Temple. (left), This Wizzrobe is dancing on top of the temple roof. (right)

North of Rowan Plain, inside the canyon, above the Forgotten Temple and near the back. You can fast-travel to the Rin Oyaa Shrine, then head east. To emphasize, the Wizzrobe is located on top of the temple, not inside it.

Electric Wizzrobe

(1 of 2) Nautelle Wetlands.

Nautelle Wetlands. (left), Be wary of Electric Keese nearby. (right)

Towards the south-west corner of the Lake region, at Nautelle Wetlands, just before the highlands. You can fast-travel to the Ishto Soh Shrine, then glide south-east.

Stone Talus

(1 of 2) Forest of Spirits.

Forest of Spirits. (left), A rather expressionless fellow, this Stone Talus. (right)

At the Great Plateau, in the clearing at the center of the Forest of Spirits. It’s directly north of the Shrine of Resurrection. Or west from the Yowaka Ita Shrine.

Hinox

(1 of 2) Hanu Pond.

Hanu Pond. (left), You could take pictures of the Hinox’s older brothers while you’re here. (right)

At Hanu Pond, near Mount Taran, within the East Necluda highlands. Encountered via the The Three Giant Brothers sidequest. If you’ve not done the sidequest, glide south from Hateno Tower, then travel east through the wetlands.
