Ridgeland Floating Platforms

By
Vincent Lau

This page details all the floating platforms found in the Ridgeland region when playing Master Mode.

Locations of the floating platforms in the Ridgeland region.

To simplify things, we’ve split the platforms into two categories. The first are those that are well within the boundaries of the Ridgeland region. Meanwhile the second are those that border another region. Platforms in the second category will also be listed in the other region’s section.

Within Ridgeland Region

Group 1

(1 of 2) Majora’s Mask makes these platforms a cinch to raid.

Majora’s Mask makes these platforms a cinch to raid. (left), The southern chest contains a Topaz. (right)

North from Outskirt Stable and Manhala Bridge, there are two platforms next to Jeddo Bridge. Both are guarded by Bokoblin archers. The southern platform has a Topaz chest, while the northern platform has a Royal Bow chest. Also, the northern Bokoblin is wielding a Lynel Bow.

If you followed out advice and picked up Majora’s Mask, you can simply walk over and reel in the chests with Magnesis, while the Bokoblins stare in bewilderment (and maybe fall off when scared by the levitating chests).

Group 2

(1 of 2) When you’re lazy to glide, you can shoot the platforms down instead.

When you’re lazy to glide, you can shoot the platforms down instead. (left), The chests here contain a Sapphire and Falcon Bow. (right)

North of Ridgeland Tower, there’s a trio of platforms connected by wooden bridges. Two of them are occupied by Lizalfos with dangerous Shock Arrows. The north-west platform has a Sapphire chest, while the north-east platform has a Falcon Bow chest.

We suggest gliding towards the platforms from atop Ridgeland Tower. Alternatively, you can shoot the platforms down from below. The Lizalfos and chests should land on the solid ground next to the lake, dealing heavy damage to the Lizalfos and allowing you to easily recover the chests.

Group 3

(1 of 2) This floating platform is in the center of the small lake on Mount Rhoam.

West from Ridgeland Tower, there’s a single platform above the small lake atop Mount Rhoam. The platform itself is home to a Lizalfos and a chest with an Edge of Duality. In the water, there’s an additional Lizalfos swimming around. You can glide down from near the peak of Mount Rhoam.

Group 4

(1 of 2) You can effortlessly grab the chests with Magnesis.

You can effortlessly grab the chests with Magnesis. (left), The chest nearer the stable has a Royal Bow. (right)

Near Tabantha Bridge Stable, there are two platforms next to Tabantha Great Bridge. The one nearer the stable is guarded by a spear Bokoblin and houses a chest with a Royal Bow. Meanwhile, the one on the opposite end has a Bokoblin with Fire Arrows and a Ruby chest.

We suggest snatching the chests with Magnesis. Otherwise, you could glide down to the platforms from higher ground. This is a bit trickier for the stable-side platform though–you may need to climb up Mount Rhoam first. You could also shoot the platforms down, glide to the canyon floor and then fast-travel back etc.

Bordering Ridgeland Region

Group A

(1 of 2) Manhala Bridge, between Central Hyrule and Hyrule Ridge has 4 platforms.

Manhala Bridge, between Central Hyrule and Hyrule Ridge has 4 platforms. (left), The chest on the Central Hyrule side contains a Ruby. (right)

North-west of Outskirt Stable, there are four platforms alongside Manhala Bridge, leading to Hyrule Ridge. Two of the platforms are level with the bridge, while the other two are positioned lower to begin with. All four are occupied by Bokoblins with Fire or Bomb Arrows

The eastern chest holds a Ruby, while the western chest has a Radiant Shield. You can use Magnesis to grab the Ruby chest. However, the shield chest is made of wood, so you’ll need to shoot down the platform or glide to it from higher ground.

Group B

(1 of 2) You can glide down to these platforms from above.

You can glide down to these platforms from above. (left), The wooden chest has a Golden Bow. (right)

West from the north end of Digdogg Suspension Bridge, there are two floating platforms near a small waterfall at Regencia River. One of these is home to a Lizalfos wielding Shock Arrows; the other has a chest with a Golden Bow.

To reach these platforms, you can simply glide down from the top of the valley.

Group I

(1 of 2) Carok Bridge has two platforms annoyingly out of reach.

Carok Bridge has two platforms annoyingly out of reach. (left), The wooden chest contains a shiny Diamond. (right)

West from Hyrule Castle Town, there are two floating platforms next to Carok Bridge, leading to Ridgeland Tower. Both platforms have Bokoblins with Bomb Arrows. The south-west platform has a wooden Diamond chest, while the north-east platform has a metal chest with a Royal Guard’s Claymore.

Sadly, the metal chest is just out of Magnesis range. Instead, you can reach the platforms by gliding from higher ground–particularly near the Hyrule Ridge side. Alternatively, you can shoot down the platforms, but use Cryonis to prepare ice pillars in advance, because the river below is fast-flowing.
