Wasteland Tower

(1 of 2) The Wasteland Tower is, fittingly enough, in a pool of toxic who-knows-what.

The Wasteland Tower is, fittingly enough, in a pool of toxic who-knows-what. (left), This region is one of the largest regions on the map, with most of it being open desert. (right)

The Wasteland Tower is in the same region as the Gerudo Town and the Yiga Clan Hideout, so it’s an important Tower you will want to unlock. Additionally, it is right at the beginning before the open desert, so you do not need to worry about heat here.

The trek to the Wasteland Tower is rather uneventful. There is a lot of climbing involved but enemies are fairly sparse. Once you arrive to the Tower, however, you will see that it is in the middle of a goopy, muddy pond. This mud will kill you instantly, like falling into lava, so you cannot swim in it. You can use Cryonis, which is your safest option.

(1 of 2) Knock over these rocks as shown

Knock over these rocks as shown (left), Then use Cryonis to stepping stone all the way to the leftmost slab so you can walk up to the Tower safely. (right)

Near the Tower are three slabs of rocks. You can use Magnesis to lift up one of the many metal crates in the area and knock the rocks over. Then you can use Cryonis to get over to them and use the fallen slabs as a ramp. If you have Revali’s Gale, though, then that is the safer option.
