★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ Moblin x2, Blue Bokoblin x3

Floor number 5 has two wandering Moblins and a skull camp inhabited by three Blue Bokoblins. Dotted around are many trees, including some thick ones you can climb to the top of.

Strategy

Firstly, you should get rid of the two Moblins outside the camp. Luckily, they’re not into teamwork; if they spot you, they’ll focus on attacking you, rather than alerting their allies. Still, try to avoid luring two Moblins at once (if you’re on the ground).

(1 of 2) Swiftly climb up one of the thick trees near a Moblin.

The safest way to eliminate the Moblins is to climb on top of one of the thicker trees and then chuck bombs at them. Even if you’re spotted, so long as you’re quick with your bombs, there’s a good chance they’ll be distracted by the bombs and forget about you.

Next, cautiously scout the skull camp. You’ll find it’s very easy to cause an “accidental” explosion. The silly Bokoblins have placed some bomb barrels to the left of the entrance. There’s also a lantern hanging from the ceiling, which would cause quite a bang if it fell down.

(1 of 2) To avoid being seen, roll a bomb from atop a tree.

Perhaps the easiest way to deal with the Bokoblins is to roll a bomb into the mouth of the skull, with the aim of detonating the bomb barrels. If you’re afraid of being spotted, you can even do this from atop one of the thick trees that’s in front of the camp.

By the way, if you grabbed some Fire Arrows from previous floors, you can directly shoot the bomb barrels with them. Stand a bit on the right and the barrels should be in direct view.

(1 of 2) You can easily shoot the hanging lantern from outside.

You can easily shoot the hanging lantern from outside. (left), Oops, the Bokoblin really need to learn about fire safety when building these things… (right)

Or if you’d prefer a more refined approach, pop an arrow at the hanging lantern. This will drop it to the ground, igniting the bomb barrels and causing one heckuva explosion.

Either way, the explosion from the bomb barrels will cause heavy damage to the Bokoblins, although it won’t kill them. It’ll also roast the food items stored in the boxes and set their weapons ablaze.

Afterwards, you can throw/roll some more bombs to finish them off. Ideally, avoid letting them spot you, because being hit by blazing weapons will hurt. To do so, you can lure them from atop a nearby tree or maybe, if you’re daring, clamber up the front of the skull.

(1 of 2) Avoiding an explosion is actually harder than making one!

Avoiding an explosion is actually harder than making one! (left), But it’s possible by luring them with arrows etc. and killing them with bombs outside. (right)

Otherwise, if you want to preserve the food items, you can slowly try to lure the Bokoblins outside and kill them without touching the bomb barrels. We managed it by standing on the right-hand side tree and shooting arrows/rolling bombs near the mouth of the camp.
