Description

This page offers a guide on how to get the hidden star Treasure of the Pyramid. This hidden Power Star is obtainable during the Blasting through the Sand level. This level can be found in the Dusty Dunes Galaxy.

Conflict with the Pokey

You will begin this level the same way as you did in Blasting through the Sand, by defeating any form of Pokey that comes your way. Pokey Heads can be defeated with one spin attack and the actual Pokey can be defeated the same way you just need to attack his body first so his head can be in range. Defeating the Pokey will make a Launch Star appear.

Aiming for the head is always guaranteed to inflict damage!

Feeding the Hungry Luma

The Launch Star will take you to the platform near the ring planet with boulders. To get to the Hungry Luma you need to head underside of the platform you land on and it will be there waiting for you.

The Hungry Luma requires 20 Star Bits to be full so it can transform into the pyramid planet. If you are low on Star Bits, there will be a few incased in crystal on the platform and you can use the Rainbow Star underside the platform with the Sling Star to quickly destroy the boulders - giving you more Star Bits. Once fed the Hungry Luma transforms into the pyramid planet and leaves a Launch Star for you to travel there.

The Hungry Luma is the key to the Hidden Power Star.

The Stars in the Pyramid

The Hungry Luma Launch Star takes you to a Warp Pipe that gets you into the pyramid planet. Once inside you’ll see a Silver Star in crystal. You will need to get five in total to make the Green Power Star appear.

You will notice a green line that runs around the area and when stepped on will turn pink and cause the ground beneath you and above to start moving upwards. This reveals a various amount of paths that the Silver Stars can be hidden. You need to explore the different paths without getting crushed and find the Silver Stars scattered around in the area.

Once the ground and the ceiling stop moving, to get them to start moving again you just step on the green line to trigger the action.

All the Silver Stars will be trapped in crystals in the area.

Once you have collected all five Silver Stars they’ll cause the Power Star to appear.
