Description

This page offers a walkthrough of the Boss level in Melty Molten Galaxy in the Garden dome.

Sinking Platforms

Firstly, you’ll need to make your way over to the sinking platforms that lead you over to the side of the tall rock structure. The platforms are small and will sink quickly so you’ll need to jump over them quickly. When you get to the side of the rock structure, you’ll need to wall jump past some fire jets to get to a green warp pipe. The green warp pipe will take you to a new planet with a Sling Star.

Defeat the Li’l Cinders

The Sling Star will take you over to a planet with 5 Li’l Cinders. You’ll need to defeat them all by spinning out their flame then kicking them. When all five of them are defeated, a Launch Star will spawn at the center.

Defeat all of the li’l cinders to spawn in a Launch Star.

On the next planet, you’ll need to run across to the other end to get to a Launch Star. As you head over the planet, you’ll need to dodge some fireballs with trailing fiery tails that you’ll also need to avoid so as not to get burned.

Collect the Star Chips

In this next section, you’ll need to use the different layers of moving platforms to grab the five Launch Star Chips. There are three on the inner platforms’ pathways and then two on the top of the planet, which you’ll need to get to via high jumps from the higher moving platforms. When you collect all Star Chips, a Launch Star will spawn at the edge of the planet, which means you’ll need to use the higher platforms to get to it.

You’ll need to use the moving platforms to reach all of the Star Chips.

Fiery Dino Piranha

In the final run to the Dino Piranha’s planet, you’ll need to make your way across some more sinking platforms. There are also lots of Star Bits to collect here, which are handy if you want to buy something from Lumalee before the fight. An item from Lumalee costs 30 Star Bits, and you can choose from either a 1-up Mushroom or a Life Mushroom.

When you reach the Fiery Dino Piranha’s planet, you may see some resemblances between this fight and the Dino Piranha fight in Good Egg Galaxy. You’ll need to spin attack the Dino Piranha’s tail, but every so often the tail sets alight and if you touch it whilst it’s on fire, you’ll take damage. When you spin attack it’s tail, the tail will go flying into the air and hit the Dino Piranha on the head. You need to attack his tail four times to defeat him for good. After the third hit, the Dino Piranha will begin spitting out fireballs that you’ll also need to dodge whilst you try to spin attack its tail for the final time. Upon defeating the Dino Piranha, a Power Star will spawn.

Spin attack the tail to damage the Fiery Dino Piranha.
