The Bat Eye is found in Yuna’s section of Via Purifico. This can be an annoying fiend, since you don’t have Wakka in your party, so you need to hope that Kimhari or Auron’s normal attacks connect. Also, since it is weak to Fire (despite the high magic defense), you can have Lulu use Fira/Firaga on it, which is a viable option due to its low HP. Like all other Eye-based fiends, it will only do a physical attack that has a chance of inflicting Confusion.
