Auron Overview

Jarrod Garripoli

Auron is a legendary guardian, who along with Braska, defeated Sin ten years prior to the events of the game. His whereabouts during those ten years is a mystery, but he eventually reappears and joins Yuna as her guardian. He is a strong and silent person, with a lot of mystery surrounding him, although quite knowledgeable about many things.

Auron is considered to be a physical powerhouse, sporting both high HP and Strength. However, his low Agility makes him a bit sketchy to use against quicker fiends. His weapons almost always have Piercing on them, making him ideal for those with the armored status. The Breaks he learns from his section of the Sphere Grid are quite powerful, as they can help make some battles a lot easier/more manageable.

Sphere Grid

Auron’s section of the Sphere Grid contains a lot of Strength and HP, as well as Defense. However, it severely lacks in Evasion, Accuracy and Agility, so Auron will definitely have less turns than other characters. You will definitely want to pick up all of his skills, since the Breaks (especially Armor Break) are great and needed for some fights. You will find Threaten and Entrust at the end of his section, with Entrust being a possibly very good skill. Auron’s section will cross into Tidus’, which is a great complement, as it gives him such much needed Accuracy and Agility, as well as even more Strength.
