The Raldo is your introduction to monsters that have armor, with it being the tutorial one, meaning that they will take minimal damage from other sources, unless you have Piercing on your weapon. Both Auron and Kimahri tend to always have Piercing on all of their weapons, so you can always use them to defeat this enemy. Its normal attack has a chance of inflicting Berserk on a character.
