“In the secluded land of the immortal Shogun, the Bakufu rules eternal. But what do mortals see of the eternity chased after by their god?” - Dainsleif
Inazuma is one of the main seven regions in Teyvat. Governed by the Inazuma Bakufu which has the Electro Archon, Baal (Raiden Shogun) as its leader. After the past few years, Inazuma is known as a tense and dangerous place according to some of the citizens who managed to leave the now lock downed region, especially for Vision bearers due to Baal enacting the Vision Hunt Decree.
The Vision Hunt Decree aims to confiscate all the visions from their wielders, those who withhold their Visions are punished severely. The reasoning behind this is, Baal considers Visions as a divine object, and should be reserved for those of divinity. For this reason, Baal also issued the Sakoku Decree, which has put Inazuma in a lockdown for the past year, not allowing anyone in or out unless they can pass a very strict assessment.
Under the leadership of the Inazuma Bakufu, the nation is also overseen by the Tri-Commission, which consists of three organisations who are responsible for everything in Inazuma. The first group, The Tenryou Commission are responsible for the Vision Hunt Decree, this is led by the Kujou Clan. The second group are the Kanjou Commission, this is led by the Hiiragi Clan, and they’re responsible for supervising the border, and enacting the Sakoku Decree. Finally, the last group is the, Yashiro Commission, which is led by the Kamisato Clan, and are responsible for managing the Festivities, Cultural events, and taking care of the Shrines scattered about the region.
