Genshin Impact

Kalpalata Lotus Locations

By
Jessica Dillon

The Kalpalata Lotus is a small flower found in the Sumeru Rainforest that grows along the sides of cliffs. It is an ascension material you will need if you want to level up the Dendro Archon Nahida, or the Electro support character, Dori. Below we go over where to find the Kalpalata Lotus and a bit about its in-game lore.

Kalpalata Lotus location in Lokapala Jungle.

Description

Flowers from vines that grow on cliff sides. It is called a lotus only because it has a similar appearance to one. Aside from that, it bears no other similar properties to the lotus.
Vines grow along cliffs everywhere in Sumeru, as timeless as time itself. It is said that these vines were the first thing that Lord Rukkhadevata ever created, making them the progenitors of every plant in Sumeru. All the great plants of the land, even the undying Divine Tree, are connected at the roots through the entanglement of these vines. Of course, this saying has long been refuted by Amurta researchers, but still, it persists amongst the people.

Use

a character ascension item. You will need to gather 168 per character to fully ascend them to level 90.

Kalpalata Lotus locations via the official Teyvat Interactive Map.

Kalpalata Lotus is a small blue and yellow flower that grows on the cliffsides around Sumeru. They can be found on the cliffs around Vanarana and on the cliffs that surround the Mawtiyima Forest. Generally, the flower grows in small clusters of two flowers per vine, so you will find multiple Kalpalata Lotus at each location shown on the map above.

The plant can be easy to miss, as the vines are quite small and can blend into the Sumeru cliffside. Generally, where you find one Kalpalata Lotus vine, there are more nearby. In addition, there are no special harvest requirements for the plant. There are 67 total Padisarah per harvest cycle, and they will respawn every 48 real-world hours.
