Once you get into Sabzeruz Festival for the second day, you will need to progress with the story-heavy quests ahead to finish The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings. During these quests, some features will be restricted. Keep reading below to learn about this quest line.
You come to attend today’s Sabzeruz Festival, but you are haunted by a lingering sense of déjà vu…
Quest Restrictions and Fail Requirements
Once you are in this quest, there are a few things that you will no longer be able to do. These following features will be unusable or reset the quest.
- Changing the Clock
- Leaving Sumeru City will reset your quest progress.
Leaving Sumeru City will reset the day you are on.
Escaping the Sabzeruz Festival
You will be following the same path that you did when starting The Coming of the Sabzeruz Festival. You will go through the stalls again, but when you get to the chance mini-game, you will select the box with the Sunsettia flavored treats regardless of which input option you choose. The Traveler will now notice something isn’t right and will head to Lambad’s Tavern. After leaving the tavern, you speak with Dunyarzad. After some questioning, though, you once again see the Sabzerus Festival get shut down.
Once you wake up again, you follow the same path. Only this time, though, you will leave Dunyarzad behind after finishing with the stalls to chase after what appears to be a small child. After catching up with her, the girl will reveal herself to be Nahida and will begin to aid the Traveler.
This time you will try to change the flow of time by convincing Dehya and getting her to speak with Nahida. This fails, but the group discusses the fact that they heard a strange beep before sleeping. Soon the group tries to remove the Akasha terminals and returns to bed causing another cycle to occur.
The day is shortened a bit as you must only focus on speaking with Dehya and Nahida before the day resets. The next couple of days play out the same and are made up of dialogue between the main cast. Things change on the third day. However, you will be fighting two waves of Eremites this time around instead of leaving things to Dehya as you did at the start of the quest.
You will now convince Nilou that you are in her dream and ultimately bring an end to the repeating Sabzeruz Festival. After this, you will go to speak with Katheryn who you will learn is possessed by Nahida, and work out the next part of your plan. This will finish The Morn a Thousand Roses brings and let you start Dreams, Emptiness, Deception - Chapter 3: Act 3.
