By
Jessica Dillon

If you are enjoying exploring The Depths, then you should pick up armor sets that make the experience more enjoyable. One of these is the Miner’s Set which makes your body glow, lighting the way forward. The set is one of the easiest to get in the game. The guide below goes over where to find the Miner’s Mask, Miner’s Top, and Miner’s Trousers in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom and how to upgrade them.

The Complete Miner’s Set.

Where to Find The Miner’s Set

The Miner’s Set is armor that glows in the dark, making it easier to navigate The Depths. This is also where all three pieces can be found, and the set is easy to grab as it’s all located in non-hostile areas that can be reached early on in the game. Below is how to get the "Miner's Mask" iconMiner’s Mask, "Miner's Top" iconMiner’s Top, and "Miner's Trousers" iconMiner’s Trousers. The set can be found using maps dropped by boss enemies, or you can just go directly to all three pieces.

Where to Get The Miner’s Mask

The Miner’s Mask can be obtained by going to the Tatayam Lightroom and then walking down to the Abandoned Kara Kara Mine. The chest will be in the middle of a round set of ruins and is easy to spot. There are no enemies nearby, and after you pick up the Minter’s Mask, you can interact with the Zonai Device to speak with a Construct who gives you the Scaffolding quick build blueprint.

(1 of 3) The Abandoned Kara Kara Mine is right in front of the Tatayam Lightroot.

Where to Get The Miner’s Top

For the Miner’s Top, head to the Iayusus Lightroot below the Great Plateau and then go west. You will soon run into the Daphnes Canyon Mine. This is an unguarded location, so there are no enemies to worry about running into, and the Gloom around the area isn’t bad. The chest is located in the middle of the mine and is out in the open. All you need to do is open it, and the Miner’s Top will be added to your inventory.

Where to Get The Miner’s Trousers

For the Miner’s Trousers, go to the Koradat Lightroot, under Mount Daphnesm, and proceed west until you find the Hylia Canyon Mine. The chest is located near the end of the area. There are several "Poe" iconPoes floating around to help you spot it. Once again, there are no enemies present, so all you need to do is open the chest and claim the Miner’s Trousers.

How to Upgrade The Miner’s Set

To upgrade the Miner’s Set, you will need to visit one of the Great Fairies. Once there, you can exchange plants, fish, and minerals to level the set all the way up. Once the Miner’s set is leveled, the footsteps you make will glow in the dark, helping you create a trail. The chart below shows what you need to level up the Miner’s armor.
