How to Complete Apogek Shrine

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to complete "Apogek Shrine" iconApogek Shrine, which is found in the Lanayru Region in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). On this page, you’ll find information on where to find the shrine, how to complete the puzzles and how to get the shrine treasure chest.

!Apogek Shrine involves using the Zonai !Wing devices to reach the end of the shrine.

Where to Find Apogek Shrine

Apogek Shrine is pretty easy to get to but it can be a little tricky to find initially as it’s kinda hidden. It’s found south of Ja’Abu Ridge in the Lanayru Great Spring area (Map Marker). More specifically, you’ll find it on the cliffs overlooking Brynna Plains. If you approach the shrine from the north, which is the easiest way to the shrine, you won’t be able to see it at first as it’s hidden beneath some ruins. Drop beneath the ruins and you’ll be able to find the shrine and enter in!

Apogek Shrine: Wings on the Wind Puzzle Walkthrough

As you enter into the shrine, you’ll be faced with your first puzzle. You need to get the ball to the target on the other side of a large chasm in the middle of the shrine. All you need to do to get it across the chasm is pick up one of the Zonai Wing devices on the left and attach the ball to it. Place the wing device on the rails on the slope, then hop onto it yourself and fly over to the other side. Once there, detach the ball and drop it into the target bowl to open up the gate.

(1 of 2) fly the wing across the chasm and drop the ball into the goal.

In the next room, you’ll want to hop up onto the upper platform by paragliding up using the upturned fan. Once on the upper platform, you’ll want to take a moment to grab the treasure chest!

How to Get the Apogek Shrine Treasure Chest

The treasure chest in question is found atop a high up platform on the left hand wall. To get to it, all you’ll need to do is pick up one of the fan devices below using Ultrahand and place it in front of the treasure chest. Then, turn it on and use the gust of wind to propel yourself into the air to reach the chest. It contains a Strong Zonaite Spear.

Now that you’ve gotten the treasure chest, hop down and you’ll just need to complete one final puzzle to reach the end of the shrine. As you can see in front of you, there are wing devices continually flying down a railed slope but they don’t have enough height to reach the end of shrine. In order to help out the wings reach the end, you’re going to want to attach two fan devices to the back of the !Wing device. Then place the wing device on the rails and hit the fans to travel across the chasm up ahead.

Add two fans to the back of the wings and fly over to the end of the shrine!

The fans will give the wings some extra height and power, allowing you to reach the end of the shrine and claim your "Light of Blessing" iconLight of Blessing. This shrine’s puzzle is quite similar to "Jirutagumac Shrine" iconJirutagumac Shrine in the Lanayru Sky Region! You can head over to our guide for information on how to find that shrine and how to complete it!
